Protector of Elona for non-Nightfall Characters
I've recently discovered that non-Nighfall characters can't access Jokonur Diggings and Blacktide Den missions anymore. I thought it was a technical issue, so I contacted TechSup, who told me that the developers changed the game so that non-Nightfall characters can't access those missions anymore (unless they've done them before the "update"). Thereby simply nixing the possibilities of new non-Nightfall characters of obtaining that elusive Protector Title.
If there are developers reading this: Could you please change it back, so that all characters can have the Protector titles in all games...

That's something really sad, I have a warrior which is almost 2 years old and now just when I want to take them to elona afther I leveled my dervish, they make it impossible to get Protector of Elona? wtf that's a really really sad action. I think the reason why they did that could be something about the Big Deal title to be earned a little too fast when you have all the 3 chaptes.
For me /signed, yes change it back, it just sounds pathetic, come on.

Im surprised they did that. Are you absolutely certain they have really done that on purpose and its not a glitch?
It seems a very odd thing to do, considering people like to be protector of more then one campaign. I cant see this going down very well.
I personally tried to make a fresh NF character and I gave up on him. I prefered to play through the game with an existing character. Im glad I completed it months ago or I would have missed out.
/signed at changing it back if they have indeed changed it.

I completed these mission not a week ago and got my title with my Tyria born Warrior. Definately sounds like a bug to me - worth raising a support ticket??

I had the same thing with my warrior from Prophecies.
It is NOT a bug.
You can fix this by finishing a certain quest.
Basically you need to go back and talk to Kormir in LA to finish off your sunspears in elona or whatever it's called mish. Once you do that and finish it off completely - you'll get those to open after you complete that mish. Give it a try and if what I said was too general (I'm working on memory right now) then do a search for this cuz the answer is out there. (-: Good luck!

I just did this and can confirm it is true. In addition, you should still be able to take the mission by joining a Nightfall born character.

EDIT: I've talked to the OP, and found that this appears to warrant further discussion. If anyone can further confirm or deny this, have at it. Please continue to follow the forum rules.
